Professor Corrado Barbui coordinates the activities of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Research and Training in Mental Health and Service Evaluation at the University of Verona, Italy, and conducts research in the field of psychiatric epidemiology, global mental health, clinical psychopharmacology and health services research. Professor Corrado Barbui founded in 2017 Cochrane Global Mental Health, a Cochrane network that supports the production, dissemination and implementation of systematic reviews relevant to mental health in low- and middle-income countries. Corrado Barbui published so far over 400 scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals, including papers in the Lancet, BMJ, JAMA, PLOS Medicine, World Psychiatry, JAMA Psychiatry, Lancet Psychiatry. He is also Editor-in-Chief of Epidemiology and Psychiatric Sciences, a Cambridge University Press Journal.
