Curriculum

Chiara Mazzi ha conseguito la laurea in Psicologia sperimentale e neuroscienze cognitivo comportamentali presso l’Università di Padova nel 2008 e il dottorato in Scienze Psicologiche e Psichiatriche presso l’Università di Verona nel 2012. I suoi interessi di ricerca comprendono i processi neurocognitivi della consapevolezza e della percezione visiva sia in soggetti sani che in pazienti con deficit del campo visivo dovuti a lesioni cerebrali corticali. A tale scopo si avvale di diverse tecniche non invasive caratterizzate da differenti livelli di risoluzione spaziale e temporale quali EEG, TMS e NIRS a segnale veloce (EROS).

Research groups

Perioperative Neurophysiology in Neurosurgery
The research group aims to develop new protocols to identify and maintain neurological functions, in particular with regards to the motor and visual systems. This will be obtained through transcranial magnetic stimulation studies in healthy subjects or patients, as well as intraoperative monitoring/mapping in neurosurgical patients
