OUTDOOR SPORTS AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES

Traditional games, tendencies and new ideas in outdoor activities

Organized by Department of Neuroscience, Biomedicine and Movement, Univ. of Verona,Italy
In collaboration with: Latvian Academy of Sport Education, Latvia Jozef Pilsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw, Faculty of PE in Biala Podlaska, PolandUniversity of Malaga, SpainDepartment of Physical Education, Klaipėda University, LithuaniaSt. Cyril and St. Methodius University ofVeliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria

 

LOCATION: University of Verona, Via Casorati 43 -Verona, Italy

AIMS: to introduce students with research in field of recreation; to improve skills of planning and organizing outdoor activities; to improve cooperation and communication skills by different nation student and teachers mutual communication; to organize and take a part in outdoor activities.

ACTIVITIES: Presentation of leisure outdoor activities from participating countries; Lectures on health and physical activitiesrelated topics on outdoor leisure andsports; Round tables and open discussion on the topics of the Summer school; Practical sessions on outdoor recreation sports, Didactic methodology on different subjects related to outdoor environment; Short presentation of participant research activities; Daily participation at the International Festival of Traditional Outdoor Games “TOCATÌ” “ 2022 edition: multi-generational physical activity”.

Two credits are provided for Bachelor Degree students in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and for Master Degree students in Sport and Physical Performance Sciences.
 
Supernumerary credits will be recorded for Master Degree students in Preventive and Adapted Exercise Sciences interested in participating in the Summer School.
