Learning objectives
The Virology course will be focused on the in-depth description of the most important and most characteristic aspects of viruses both in terms of their biology and their impact on a biomedical level. The viruses that will be considered in the course will be viruses that are etiological agents of human pathologies. These pathogenic agents will not only be presented individually but also as groups of pathogens within a more general syndromic impact, to exhaustively highlight the pathogenic characteristics and the mechanisms of cellular damage and alteration of the immune system.
