• Dr Elio Liboi is a biochemist molecular biologist/cell biologist.
• Main interests: virology (study on DNA tumor virus Polyoma and SV40), hematology (erythropoiesis focused on Epo Receptor and IL3), biosynthesis-signaling of FGFR3 associated to chondrodysplasias and multiple myeloma.
• Most of his research have been carried out in USA and Italy.
• He received awards from the Japanese Foundation for cancer research and the Yamagiwa-Yoshida Memorial International Cancer Study Grant.
• He is presently the Delegate for international student mobility of the School of Medicine.
