Curriculum

Marialuisa Gandolfi, MD, Ph.D., PRM physician, is an Associate Professor of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (PRM) at the Department of Neurosciences, Biomedicine and Movement Sciences (DNBM) of the University of Verona, Italy. She works at the Neurorehabilitation Unit, a rehabilitation facility based in the University Hospital Policlinico GB Rossi, Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Integrata (AOUI) of Verona (Italy). 

She has authored of several peer-reviewed publications on neuromotor rehabilitation, gait and balance rehabilitation, and innovative technologies. The specific research themes deal with posture and balance disorders in patients with Parkinson’s disease and Functional Motor Disorders. She has participated as a research component of several national and international clinical trials on neurorehabilitation. She is involved in research on telemedicine and telemonitoring in Functional Motor Disorders. 

She is a member of the FNDS Society, MDS Society, and Italian Association of Neurological Rehabilitation (S.I.R.N) steering committee. She is also a member of the Italian Society of Parkinson and Extra-pyramidal Disease (LIMPE) and the Italian Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (SIMFER).
