Degree in Biological Sciences (University of Padua).
PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Pathology (University of Verona).
Stages as visiting researcher in the Lab. of Molecular and Epidemiology Genetics (INSERM U613), University of Brest (France) and in the  Lab. of molecular genetics (INSERM U827), University of Montpellier (France).
Main research field is human molecular genetics with a specific interest in the identification of genetic factors involved in development, progression and / or severity of Mendelian and complex diseases, mainly of the respiratory system, such as cystic fibrosis and CFTR gene related diseases, asthma, occupational asthma , Bronchiectasis, COPD, Rhinitis.
The main competences include analysis of gene mutations, high-throughput genotyping, genotype-phenotype correlations, Sanger and NGS sequences (exomic and target), association analysis, genotype-phenotype correlations.
